The Riviera Garden Club is hosting “Beyond the Garden Gate” a Hollywood Riviera Garden Tour of 8 wonderfully manicured gardens….each one unique and special. Saturday, October 18th from 10-4 is the day of the self-guided event. You buy your ticket and look for the brightly colored umbrellas out front of each home on the tour. The ticket has a nice map of the area as well as an overview of each of these “must-see” gardens! This is a great way to get to know our area and the wonderful people that live here! Beyond the garden gate of the €œwater house€ lies a carefully landscaped backyard. Dramatically perched on a cliff above the blue Pacific, the sweeping white water views will take your breath away. The garden terraces right down the steep bluff to the sand and ocean below. You can pause and enjoy the view from the comfort of the spacious patio or take the steps down closer to the water. The view alone will knock your socks off! Owner Mary Lou is known for a green thumb and has created a plant filled seaside refuge which is constantly evolving. Her unique containers and many artistic touches complete a magical vision and are not to be missed.
